Chasing Waterfalls
Been quite a while, ey? I see you still have your seats in the house
Well, after a long time, here we are again. Yaaaaay… Ok, settle down kids.
A bunch of friends and I went on on my birthday (23rd July) to do what most of us do in the city everyday… Chase waterfalls. *insert Theme music*…. And this is a taste of what my iPhone and I (despite falling in the river 3 times) brought back for your viewing pleasure.
Enjoy
Just so you know, I fell in the water for the first round right after this shot of the beautiful Thika Falls.
I was busy trying to carry my stool (yes, stool) through the rocks as the big boys were already composing their shots. That’s from left @truthslinger, @kevjapicha, @stevekitots and @nyingez on twitter
That’s the beautiful fourteen falls in living color (or lack thereof)
We crossed over to the left side of Fourteen Falls by boat… Noticed this fisherman by the foot and I thought the falls made a beautiful backdrop
As the sun went down and the clouds looming above, Mutua (@truthslinger) sets up a shot of the sunset.
Soon it was time to bounce… On the bridge over troubled waters… I should add this was the third time I feel in the water..
The second time was after a friend I made at the Thika falls so graciously posed for me for the shot below….
After a beautiful (but drama filled day) it was time to go… And to wrap things up, the three… Ummm… Two… Ummm… I mean one finger salute.. Never mind…

that lizard is cool..

This is really nice JW the angles, the clarity the texture are so on point, mad respect to that little gadget. Who needs an SLR these days?, but I feel that I would get more out of the experience if I saw the greens and the blues in more, just to have that sense of nature, from the richness in color. I am curious to see how this amazing talent will take you places! jk
