Little known Places: Beautiful Thego
As you may have noticed by now, a few friends and I have been going around Kenya looking for interesting and sometimes undiscovered (by city folks like me) places. You can follow our trips on twitter under the hashtags #OneTouchLive and/or #ShootingKenya.
This time the roads led us (@truthslinger, @mwarv, @gummybear254, @nonimutua on twitter) to a little known but extremely gorgeous place near Nyeri called…. Wait for it…. Waaaait for it… Thego! I again carried all my heavy photography gear (you know by now that’s my trusty iPhone… all 140 grams of it… Oh and a 20 gram piece of cloth to wipe the iPhone lens incase I fell in the water again…and I did) Yes, it was time to get going…. To Thego… And… Let go… From the get go… Ok… I’ll be quiet now and leave you with a map and a few images from that road trip at and on the way to Thego. I’ll be on that pile of seats right there if you need me.

Thanks Zawadi… And it IS absolutely breathtaking. At some point we had to sit down for a minute and just take it in… Especially how chiseled the natural cliffs looked. Hehe… Asante

That part of Kenya is so breathtaking, especially the fields in Timau… did you come across the ones that look like they’ve been mowed in rows? Love them.
I love the photo of the tree trunks… reminds me of a group of elephants standing together, their legs usually look like tree trunks.
